Rick is the Editor of the Arizona Division newsletter the Spur Line. In this role, he creates the quarterly newsletter as well as flyers and posters for each Division Meet.

Rick has been a model railroader since age 5. He worked in hobby shops during his late teens and was a custom painter of brass. Rick is very involved in operations and regularly participates in operating events in the Phoenix area and around the country.

Rick models in HO and is in the planning process for a Southern Pacific layout modeling the Los Angeles area. He is also heavily involved in the Grand Canyon State Model Railroaders an HO scale modular club based in the Phoenix area.
